CASE FILE #045 – The Fissure
Location: Lake of Two Mountains, Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
Aerial photographs taken over Lake of Two Mountains have revealed what appears to be an enormous fissure beneath the water near Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac.
We do not know when it appeared.
We do not know how deep it is.
At this time, we cannot even confirm that it is new.
The opening extends for a considerable distance across the lakebed, forming a dark channel surrounded by fractured rock. Its full length cannot be determined from the photograph, and the bottom is not visible.
After everything documented in and around this lake, it is difficult to look at this image without considering what it might mean.
Entity D lived beneath these waters. Type B Entities have emerged from the lake. Other sightings have occurred along the shoreline, and for months we have been trying to understand where these things are coming from.
We may finally have found somewhere to look.
Tomorrow, we will publish photographs taken closer to the fissure.
For now, we have only one question.
What is down there?
Classification: Unidentified Anomaly

DOSSIER #045 – La Fissure
