CASE FILE #029 – Above the Corn
Location: Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
A resident walking beside a cornfield heard movement among the crops.
He initially assumed it was a deer.
Then something pale rose above the corn.
He recognized Entity A from our archive.
The witness took one photograph before retreating. The entity did not follow.
Despite the mature corn, much of its upper body remained visible, confirming its considerable height.
According to the witness, it moved slowly until noticing him.
Then it became completely motionless.
We have documented this behavior before.
Entity A frequently freezes when discovered, sometimes remaining still while watching witnesses.
We still do not understand why.
Nor do we know what these entities are doing here.
But they are no longer appearing only around our homes.
They are in the fields surrounding us too.

DOSSIER #029 – Au-dessus du Maïs
Lieu : Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
Un résident marchant près d’un champ de maïs a entendu du mouvement parmi les cultures.
Il a d’abord cru à un chevreuil.
Puis quelque chose de pâle s’est redressé au-dessus du maïs.
Il a reconnu l’Entité A grâce à nos archives.
Le témoin a pris une photographie avant de reculer. L’entité ne l’a pas suivi.
Malgré la hauteur du maïs, une grande partie de son corps demeurait visible, confirmant sa taille considérable.
Selon le témoin, elle se déplaçait lentement jusqu’à ce qu’elle le remarque.
Puis elle est devenue parfaitement immobile.
Nous avons déjà documenté ce comportement.
L’Entité A s’immobilise fréquemment lorsqu’elle est découverte, demeurant parfois ainsi tout en observant les témoins.
Nous ignorons toujours pourquoi.
Nous ne savons pas davantage ce que ces entités font ici.
Mais elles n’apparaissent plus seulement autour de nos maisons.
Elles sont aussi dans les champs qui nous entourent.
