CASE FILE #016 – The Buried Hunter
Location: Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
A witness crossing a lakeside playground before work noticed several pale humanoid hands protruding from the sand, separated by considerable distances.
Believing people might be buried beneath the surface, he approached.
Near the center, he discovered a small opening.
Inside, a face was looking back at him.
The exceptionally large head was pale and humanoid, with a dark eye and oversized teeth. The rest of the entity remained buried.
It did not move.
The witness photographed it and began retreating. As he left, a domestic cat approached one of the exposed hands.
Moments later, the animal disappeared.
There was no visible pursuit or struggle. Neither the head nor the hands appeared to move.
Given the distance between the appendages, the concealed body must have occupied a considerable portion of the playground.
This may be our first photograph of the face of a Type B Entity.
We emphasize *may*.
If the head and hands belong to the same entity, its anatomy is far more disturbing than anticipated.
Its face is humanoid.
Not human.
Humanoid.
Why entities with radically different anatomies possess recognizable human features remains unknown.
One detail is particularly troubling.
This entity was concealed beneath a playground.
Children play here. Families gather here.
And until someone noticed those hands, nobody knew what was underneath.

DOSSIER #016 – Le Chasseur Enfoui
Lieu : Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac
Un témoin traversant un terrain de jeu au bord de l’eau avant son travail a remarqué plusieurs mains humanoïdes pâles émergeant du sable, séparées par des distances considérables.
Croyant que des personnes pouvaient être ensevelies, il s’est approché.
Près du centre, il a découvert une petite ouverture.
À l’intérieur, un visage le regardait.
La tête, exceptionnellement grande, était pâle et humanoïde, avec un œil sombre et des dents disproportionnées. Le reste de l’entité demeurait enfoui.
Elle ne bougeait pas.
Le témoin l’a photographiée avant de s’éloigner. En quittant les lieux, il a aperçu un chat domestique s’approchant d’une des mains exposées.
Quelques instants plus tard, l’animal a disparu.
Aucune poursuite ni lutte n’a été observée. Ni la tête ni les mains ne semblaient bouger.
Compte tenu de la distance entre les appendices, le corps dissimulé devait occuper une portion considérable du terrain de jeu.
Il pourrait s’agir de notre première photographie du visage d’une Entité de Type B.
Nous insistons sur *pourrait*.
Si la tête et les mains appartiennent à la même entité, son anatomie est bien plus troublante que prévu.
Son visage est humanoïde.
Pas humain.
Humanoïde.
Nous ignorons pourquoi des entités aux anatomies si différentes présentent des caractéristiques humaines reconnaissables.
Un détail demeure particulièrement inquiétant.
Cette entité était dissimulée sous un terrain de jeu.
Des enfants jouent ici. Des familles s’y rassemblent.
Et jusqu’à ce que quelqu’un remarque ces mains, personne ne savait ce qui se trouvait dessous.
